R. H. (Casey) Albright, 80, a resident of Plainfield, died suddenly Friday noon, Jan. 2, at his home of an apparent heart attack.

He was born on December 13, 1889 in Bremer county, the son of August and Dorthea (Schultz) Albright. He entered the army in W. W. I in 1917, and after his discharge in 1919 started operating the home farm north of Waverly. In 1952 he and his sister Linda moved off the farm and into Plainfield where they resided for the past 18 years.

He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Carl Blum, Spring Valley, Illinois, Miss Linda Albright, Plainfield, and Mrs. Dalton Knesel, Waterloo. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Edward and John.

Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 5, 2 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Waverly with burial in Harlington Cemetery, Waverly. Graveside military services were conducted by the Waverly American Legion Post #176. The Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
