Bremer County Treasurer’s Office seeks a qualified applicant for an office clerk.
Applicant must be able to learn and retain the numerous laws, regulations, and special procedures involved in processing motor vehicle titles, registrations, and various official documents in an accurate and timely manner. Have the ability to collect the appropriate fees; process confidential information with tact and discretion; and acquire a working knowledge of property tax collections and driver’s license issuance.
Must demonstrate a strong written and verbal communication skill and maintain composure and interact positively with the public under stressful and interruptive situations. Be committed to providing quality customer service by working and communicating with customers to meet their needs in a polite, courteous, and cooperative manner. Must be detail oriented with the ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task.
Proficiency in Windows based applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel; data entry; and operating office equipment. Some heavy lifting is required.
