A permanent full time Human Resources Manager position for Bremer County, IA is currently available for hire. This position will be directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource function. Under general direction of the County Board of Supervisors, administers, plans, develops and coordinates the County’s Human Resources polices, programs, activities and procedures for ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and/or regulations. The Human Resource Manager advises and assists Department Heads, Elected Officials and employees with day-to-day human resources tasks to include recruitment and selection and wage and salary administration to assure compliance with county policy and applicable federal, state and local laws.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with coursework in human resources, or related field and 3 to 5 years’ human resource generalist or related work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
